Twin Flame Rendezvous

There have been many times I've woken up from a long night’s sleep having had the most marvelous dream of encountering an indescribable love. I've dreamt what I like to identify as my Soul Love, and many refer to as Twin Flame

How do I know it was my twin flame?

I could feel it. And because I feel it, I know it. I sense a love so deep, so fulfilling, and so complete, it's as though I am enveloped in my very own love. Sounds strange, I imagine, to some of you reading this, but to others this may actually resonate.

The Experience

Have you ever woken up from a dream in which you dreamt of loving a person you have never met or even seen in this lifetime, and you felt as though you never wanted to wake up because you felt so amazingly happy with them and it was hard to leave the dream? Have you ever wanted to fall asleep again just to be able to go back and continue to feel the immense feeling of love that you’ve only experienced in your dreams?

Well, a twin flame encounter is like that. You feel it.

I can't think far back enough to remember the first time I’ve had this rendezvous with my twin flame. Throughout the years, my soul love has appeared to me in different faces and ages, and the only way I recognize my twin flame is through the feeling of immense love that makes me want to stay in my dream and never wake up.

It so happened that I found out I was not alone which is the very reason why I decided to share my experience, and join the conversation going on about twin flames. I scoured the internet and discovered that many people have actually found their twin flame in the physical realm. Some twin flame relationships survive throughout the years while others seem to be separated once again by circumstances beyond their control yet they live with the flame still burning in their soul, yearning for one another. Yet regardless, together or apart, all the same, twin flames are fulfilling their purpose.
However, what do you do when your twin flame exists only in the astral plane where you meet beyond space and time, and can only experience glimpses of that eternal love?

You trust. You practice patience. You keep it alive.
You expand your being.

The Essence of Twin Flames

I finally became aware after much pondering and soul searching, that my soul love is with me even beyond the reality of this human existence. We have had lifetimes together and we continue our journey separated by light years and dimensions that I can barely fathom. My understanding is that my twin soul, which in essence is my other half, my equal, my image and true reflection of my Self was birthed, like all souls have, to execute one mission – LOVE.

The mission of soul love is to supply this planet with the intensity of the highest vibration that exists to dissolve the dark forces with it's pure unconditional love in order to assist with the ascension of Mother Earth. Our twin flame is a projection of self-love, the greatest love there is. There are time we might struggle with it, we fight it, we sometimes forget it. But it exists, and when we meet with it again, we are drawn like a moth to a flame, mesmerized. And when we are together again, it is magical, we become whole thus, igniting the intense feeling of love from which we do not want to detach from, ever. It is this love, this vibration, the reason our twin flame was birthed — to generate this energy beyond time and space.

Whether twin flames unite in human reality, and many of you have already experienced it, or whether we encounter our twin flame only in our dreams, the force, the power of it is not diminished either way. The soul love is working toward the greater good of humanity and this planet, and no matter where it is we unite, the love that binds us is eternal. Soul love is carrying out its mission – to love unconditionally, to shower humanity with love, to raise the vibration with the highest frequency that is love, to unite us all in love and serve with the ascension of Mother Earth. And, yes, I believe this mission of love uniting and ascension can be undertaken even while dreaming.

My twin flame revealed this to me

"I have come to you before in your dreams. Sometimes I look different because I reveal myself in the face I have taken during the physical lifetimes we were together. My love is always with you, and we will meet again in person in the not so distant future. Until then it will be in dreams where we meet as a reminder that we are one eternally. Our souls continue to unite and create change in the world."

Twin Flame Connection

If you have dreamt of your twin flame, there are ways in which you can keep the love alive in the physical by connecting to your twin flame in waking hours. Personally, my advice is to seek the answers deep within and the path to take will be revealed in order to nurture your twin flame. Some of you might even manifest the union in the physical form. If you find yourself in a current relationship with a soul mate and not your twin flame, it's important to realize that the physical separation of the twin flame is part of the twin flame's journey. These relationships, too, have their purpose and the twin flame is aware of this.

As for me, I know that my soul love/twin flame awaits me in the not too distant future. Until then, we will continue to rendezvous in our dreams.

On this note:  If you have had a twin flame encounter, please share in the comments.  I'd love to hear in what ways this experience has touched and/or changed your life.

5 Things I Do For Self-Love

I had been feeling a bit melancholy the past few days.  I don't know if it had to do with Mercury going direct sometime around last Tuesday morning (because that's when it started) or if it just had to do with the overly-sensitive nature of mine to absorb everything like a vacuum (so I've been told).  Whatever it was, I was in a tizzy over nothing I could actually pinpoint definitively.  What I did sense, however, was that all I really wanted was to feel love.  It seemed to me that I had slowly and gradually been separated from love, and I don't know when it actually started drifting away from me.  Again, having been through Mercury retro and now going direct, perhaps I was simply releasing all the energy built-up during those three weeks. Whatever it was, I felt depleted of love and I needed to refill.

So after a crying spell that lasted a good part of the morning, I finally decided to simply allow myself to feel whatever it was and just go about my day with the presence of sadness looming over me, weighing me down emotionally.  I knew it was there, and I let it process, all the while doing my best to be cheery and positive.  So when my friend called me up to say it was Zumba night, I thought, "It might be good to get out."  Then, later on the feeling-sorry-for-myself part of me that was feeling absent of love, changed its mind and thought, "I don't think it's a good idea."  So there I was, my head and my heart were on two completely different planes. But, I knew what I had to do -- I put my best Zumba foot forward and went. Because that's what self-love is all about.

In the mix, it hit me:  there are a few other things I find very consoling in times of dreary loveless moments that help me replenish the love that I thirst for.

My 5 Favorite Ways to Lift My Self-Love -- Higher & Higher!!

Dance, Sing (or both) My Heart Out
I went to Zumba that night.  Needless to say, even after the energetic dancing and jumping around to various salsa and quebradita latin music mixed with some old school Michael Jackson and The Gap Band, my heart was still tender.  But, the dancing certainly took my mind off my sadness for awhile, and I got a good work out, so it worked two-fold.  I love to dance and I love to sing -- and no matter how I'm feeling, when I do one of those two things, or simultaneously, I always end up with a smile on my face, and an increase of love in my heart. Tuning into your fun self is what it's all about here.  Mine is music that picks me up with dance and song. Tap into your song, you're heart will be feeling the love.

Connect to My Spiritual Self
Most people desire to connect to their spiritual self and many people do in their own way.  It's kind of sacred, and usually we don't like to share how or when we do it. And when someone does share it with us, it can sometimes feel like preaching.  So for most of us, it's a subject we keep mostly to ourselves.  But, taking some time to connect with your source is, to me, one of the best demonstrations of self-love.  I chant -- whether it's in Sanskrit, a kundalini mantra, some kirtan or a healing meditation -- just to re-connect to the center of my being and become one with my higher self.  If this is not your type of ritual, find something that can just help you center. I had an energy clearing the same night I was in Zumba, and let me tell you, the next day, the feelings of sadness and emotion disappeared, as if I had never been in that spell at all.  You can find this type of therapy, like reiki, angel attunements, etc., just make sure its from a true and trusting source. There is nothing more fulfilling or blissful than those moments of escape with my soul.  And when I return to my human state of consciousness, I am always, always surrounded by pure self-love.

Being Myself
We all have a quirkiness about us.  It's what makes you an individual, different from others.  It can be  a silly side of you that doesn't come out much anymore.  I do believe that silliness is a description for the character inside of us that likes to have fun, that loves all things free-born with the desire to just laugh and be happy no matter what others may think.  Allowing yourself to be quirky as part of your personality and character is your God-given right -- and if it's been lost, or altered, RECLAIM it!  It's who you are, and its a part of you to love and let others love you for it.

Cooking My Favorite Dishes
Ahhhh, this so therapeutic for me.  Everyone knows the saying, "The way to the heart is through the stomach."  Cooking my favorites dishes always connects me to the heart of my culture, allows me to explore new tastes and smells, and I can show my family just how much I love them through their stomachs!  The recipes that have been handed down to me by my mom, and new ones I've picked up, whipped up by my own two hands and added my own special "sabores" gets me excited to cook for my family, and for me it's love all the way down to the last bite. Mm mm mm delicious!  Oh, and don't forget the vino!

Visit My Favorite Places

I would love to pack up and go whenever I get the urge   . . . but although I don't have the luxury of flying off to a hidden island (like the Seychelles) or a destination of wonder (like Macchu Picchu), I have another method to book a one-way ticket to paradise. I improvise with my imagination and travel to my favorite destination by daydreaming away.  Not imaginative enough? Okay maybe take a drive, or a walk to an area of tranquility or fun.  I used to love watering my garden while watching the butterflies flutter about the bright bed of flowers and green plants. Whatever moves you -- just do it for you!  Whether you wander into the unknown of your imagination, perhaps take a day trip to your favorite place, or a weekend getaway with a good book, taking off on your own can do the trick.  When you come back, you will love yourself for it!  Hasta la vista sadness, bien venido al AMOR! (Goodbye sadness, hello to love!)

So there you have it . . . my five ways to show me how much I love me . . . and when I love myself, others find it easier to love me, too.  My ways may not be your cup of tea, and I'm not trying to make you like them -- but I do want to tempt you into finding the things that shine love into your life.
Before trying to find love in things or people, find it within you.
There is an infinite well of love deep inside of you that is waiting to be drawn.  Once you discover your self-love, it will be easier to manage life when the going gets tough.  At least you'll have you and your heart to make it all better.  And not to mention, better prepared for the next Mercury retrograde . . .  uh-oh, I better get the Kleenex ready!

On This Note:  When your heart is heavy and full of grief remember you are a spark of pure and natural love.  You can shine once again.

I hope this blog motivates at least one person to find their courage and start moving toward making their dream come true!

Pick Yourself Up, Dust Yourself Off

Recently I had the experience of starting up a couple of new businesses that at the time felt like they were really good ideas ~ I wanted to pursue my dreams ~ One was to become a party planner, the other was to open up an evening gown store with my daughter. These were not just whims I was going through, I was following my heart. It was time for a change and I needed to discover what it was that I would be happiest doing. In order to figure that out, I would have to leave my comfort zone.  As it turned out the evening gown store didn't really take off and I decided I wasn't cut out for planning parties. These baby steps, as I look at them, are all part of figuring out what it was I really wanted to do; part of my growing process.

Let me back up just a bit. Prior to going after those two ventures, I had gone from being a 10-year legal assistant to running a legal transcription business successfully for 5 years, followed by a two-year hiatus during which time I decided to go back to school and earn a certificate in Hospitality Management because I thought I wanted to work in special events coordinating socials and big parties. It's important to mention that in those last two years I went through a lot of ups and downs, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, while I mulled over all the things I had accomplished . . . and had lost. I came face to face with the realization that I made decisions which had affected every moment and shaped every circumstance in my life to this very day, good and bad.  The BIG fall for me actually happened when my transcription business literally went out of business from one day to the next. I received an email from my major client notifying me that they would no longer be using my services. And just like that, I was out of business. Everything I had worked for till that day quickly dissipated. I should have seen the pot boiling before all the liquid had evaporated into thin air. You live and learn, and this was going to be one huge learning curve for me.  It took several hard-learned lessons to finally teach me how to take responsibility for my actions.  Now it was time to pick myself up, dust myself off and start all over again (I hear Sinatra singing in my head).

People who knew me from before my great big fall, knew me as the person who didn't take no for an answer and I didn't take advice from anyone. I followed my will and did as I deemed fit. Being the Capricorn that I am, it's no surprise. So when I fell from the height of my so-called success, my ego was perched high above the clouds ever so clueless that I had used up all my opportunities to change my ways and the sun was about to set on my day. The ride back down was fast, furious and the spirals came so quickly that it pretty much seemed like a straight downward free-fall. When I hit the ground, I was down for the count. Think birdies and stars circling my bumped up head. It felt like I had been crushed to pieces. It was pretty hard to digest all of this at first, then it was really hard to face, and now it's an experience that has helped me draw wisdom from the err of my ways and gave me the strength to -- I repeat -- pick myself up, dust myself off and start all over again; and if you've been there, you can relate to how difficult this could be.
I found out (the hard way) that it's all about how you play the game . . .

When I think about the road to following my dreams, I see it as kind of like that Candy Land game we used to play as kids. You go through the sugar coated paths picking up gumdrops and lollipops as you whisk by your opponent, but not without the risk of going through Queen Frostine's mountain or getting stuck in Molasses swamp. Every now and then you may even find yourself losing a turn. Unlike the game, however, in real life if you happen to pay attention to the voice of reason and the heart of wisdom, you may be able to save yourself from self-destruction. I've come to realize that in real life there is always a window of opportunity to get out before you lose it all -- sort of like the game when you choose a card that brings you out of the swamp and you zoom to the finish line. But if you miss it, like I did, in order to recover from the loss, it's always best to choose to look on the brighter side because at least now you have a first-hand look at what not to do EVER again.

Ah...but between the self-destruction and pulling yourself back up on your feet, what do you do to garner the strength for that? It's a decision you have to make whether you want to sink or swim. The latter is always better. I was always told that it was better to have tried and failed than to never have tried at all and there's a lot of truth to that. In order for me to believe that though, I had to go through a period of growth and self care.

Here's how I got myself from there to where I am now . . .

BE KIND TO YOURSELF
In order to be kind to YOU, one needs to be able to love themselves. If you're having a hard time loving yourself, start by liking yourself again. Engage yourself in things you enjoy, things that make you smile, things that tap into your feel-good emotions. For awhile all you did was focus on the climb because you wanted to achieve that dream, and when it didn't turn out how you expected it would, you lost yourself. Now you're thinking about starting over, so be nice to you this time around by making you first. Not in a selfish kind of way, but in ways that let you notice how good life could actually be when you learn to make yourself smile again. Instead of focusing on the outcome and losing yourself in it, focus on being kind to you; making this dream come true, after all, is meant to bring you happiness.

NURTURE YOURSELF
Look outside of this physical world, connect to the divine within you and all answers, all direction, all guidance will be provided for you to upload into your being and enable yourself to create once again. Feed yourself with positive words, and remove yourself from all the negative talk and criticism of your past feat. Remember, it's in the past now.

HEAL YOUR WOUNDS
You are a creation that grows and evolves. You have been given all you need in this body within which you reside to be able to navigate through life during the best of times and during the most difficult of times. You behold a "magic wand" within your reach; look for it outside this physical, material world. Let yourself be guided by your senses and you could begin to improve your life. Take care of your physical body as well as your emotional self. It's going to be a process so give yourself time to heal. (Think: balanced chakras).

FORGIVE YOURSELF
This one is pretty tough, I'll be the first to admit. Lots of times we find ourselves believing we did nothing wrong -- it was everything else around me that went wrong, the Universe has it in for me, or some other person made this happen to me. Although, it doesn't matter what we blame or who we blame, it still weighs heavily on us all the same. The burden of carrying all that resentment, disappointment and frustration towards another person or an event is no easier than if we placed it on ourselves. Either way, you're carrying it. Forgive yourself by saying, "I'm sorry for all that weight of guilt and pain I made my self carry, regardless of where I picked it up, because I no longer wish to feel this way. I no longer allow myself to feel anything negative as it pertains to this situation." And when you take your power back and decide you no longer allow a situation or another person to weigh you down with hurtful feelings, all that weight falls off from you and you have forgiven yourself.
And last but not least (here it goes again) . . .
PICK YOURSELF UP, DUST YOURSELF OFF
It's time to start all over again with a new dream, or an old one, but with a better outlook and a different approach all the while keeping a positive attitude no matter what shows up for you. The road will be bumpy, but don't let those bumps discourage you from following your dreams. When you encounter a situation that is difficult instead of looking at it as an obstacle think of it as a fork in the road -- it's time to make a decision.  Maybe you need to deviate from the plan.  Remember, sometimes our plan is not the one that is necessarily right for us. Perhaps, our old way of thinking brought us here to this place.  It's time to think differently now, and to learn from past experiences. Never let yourself feel like a failure. If something didn't work out for you, look at it from all angles and figure out where you wobbled then strengthen your step for the next hurdle.

Be good to YOU, and let those dreams lead you to where you are going to be happy, doing what you love.

You'll never find out if you give up with the first fall. Try as many things as you want. You won't know one bad dish from another until you try them all. As for me, I've had my share of sample dishes and now I'm involved with assisting others to achieve their desires all while affording me the time to do what I love most -- I get to write and I love it!

On This Note: If you pay attention to the signs around you providing direction, the path is sure to be a lot smoother.

I hope this blog motivates at least one person to find their courage and start moving toward making their dream come true!
